Doctor of Philosophy in Biostatistics
The Department of Mathematical Sciences at IUPUI and the Division of Biostatistics in the IU School of Medicine jointly offer a graduate program in Biostatistics leading to a Ph.D. degree from Indiana University. The program combines the strength in statistical theory of the Department of Mathematical Sciences with the biostatistical methods research and life sciences experience of the Division of Biostatistics. This unique collaboration provides an excellent environment for collaborative and interdisciplinary study. With a low student/faculty ratio, this program also offers students many opportunities for close interaction with faculty and careful research guidance.
